Ian entered professor Lainey's office.A few other students were also there and he thought of waiting for his turn to speak to the teacher.
He realised though, that nobody was about to speak.
"Um, goodmorning Professor, I was wondering when the first lesson is gonna be?"he asked.
"Oh and I'm Ian Jacobs by the way, third year.To be honest yours is one of the few classes I'm actually looking forward to."
