Madeline smiled as she looked at Lindsay doing her work. Poor children, they were in the middle of quite a lot today.
Suddenly, a middle aged man ran past her, yelling "He's flying, I tell you! He's flying!" A few passing muggles were giving him strange looks, and another muttered, "Poor devil must have taken too many pain-killers."
"Excuse me, sir," Madeline said, catching up to the man. "You say there is a man down there flying?" she asked.
He nodded quickly. "He really is, I swear!"
"Please, come with me, I'd like to ask a few questions about this 'flying man'" she said, leading him into a nearby alleyway.
"Finally, someone who believes me!" he exclaimed, and he followed her without another question.
As soon as they were hidden in the alleyway shadows, Madeline drew her wand and yelled, "Oblivate!"
The man's eyes slid out of focus, and Madeline created a memory that he had, indeed, taken too many pain killers for a headache he had had earlier in the day. Once the man was seated against the nearby wall, Madeline left to attend to more victims.
