Harry had just fallen asleep when he was shaken awake. He groped around for his glasses and then remembered he didn’t wear them anymore. He was still getting used to living without them. He opened his eyes and startled. Professor McGonagall was standing over him, in the boy’s dormitories. It was midnight.
“Sorry Potter but the Headmaster needs to see you and Miss Granger. Mr Weasley and his sister will be joining you also, I believe they would like to know the truth."
“Um… ok…”
He got up and went straight to Dumbledore’s office (he’d forgotten to change into pyjamas anyway).
On arrival he saw a very strange scene. Hermione was sitting on one side of the room looking tired but satisfied. Dumbledore was fiddling with a cauldron of pearly-pink liquid on his desk. Cho Chang was sitting with her hands tied behind her on another chair, looking thoroughly annoyed and stubborn.
“Ah Harry, I have an explanation for you! Please have a seat…” Dumbledore indicated to a chair next to Hermione. Harry sat down and waited for Dumbledore to say something. Dumbledore looked at the Potion on his desk again and nodded smiling. He opened his mouth to talk but the door burst open and Ginny ran in. She grabbed Cho by her robes brought her fist behind her head. Professor McGonagall grabbed her arm and pulled her onto a chair. Ginny kept trying to get at Cho but kept being restrained until she gave up at last.
“I’m ok I’m ok…” She said and stopped fighting. Professor McGonagall let her go and went to shut the door. But as soon as she turned her back Ginny sprang up again and was held back by Ron, who had been standing in the doorway quietly until now. Ginny was trying to claw at Cho, who was cowering as much as she could with her hands tied behind her. Harry was trying not to laugh as McGonagall grabbed Ginny’s hands and tied them behind her chair. Now both Ginny and Cho had their hands tied behind their chairs. The pair were shooting daggers at eachother like to cats before a fight. Eventually McGonagall had to tied their feet to the chair, stick the chairs to the ground and conjure a screen between them to stop the commotion. Ginny stared at the ground with silent tears leaking. Dumbledore smiled and began to explain.
