Kristi kept her eyes away from Darrin's face as he spoke, slightly distracted by the fact that he had his hands in her hair. Why did he have his hands in her hair? Her heart seemed to stop at the words, well, I think I've moved onto something else. Something else? What? As comprehension slowly dawned on her and Kristi looked up to see Darrin looking down at her.
