Gasping and pouting, she pulled her lips down into a pathetic frown before they upturned at his beckon. Why he was calling her angel, she didn't get but all she knew was CANDY BAR!

And he winked. Cue swooning.

She didn’t need to admit it for him to know it, but he wouldn’t yet acknowledge it unless she said it. Maybe it was a foolish way of doing things but he’d much rather her come out and tell him than make him assume it. Especially if he were wrong.

“Only friends?” he questioned, his voice inquisitive. He couldn’t help it! He was curious. Even Tristan had a bit of an ego to him. “I thought… perhaps… well… doesn’t friends kind of… oh I don’t know, over simplify it?” His crooked smile tugged at the corners of his lips again. “Perhaps I was just mistaken, Queen Zazu?”

He remained watching her, standing her short distance away from him. He could never figure her out.
