One More Leap
To feel wanted, was all she ever dreamed.
Everyone was against her, or so it seemed.
As a girl, she had many friends,
But she still left lonely,
The heartache never ends.
She felt frozen, in a world
Where nothing seemed to stop.
Her heart felt like it was locked.
Locked in a world too cruel to care,
About a girl who was so close to the edge.
It started long ago, in this game that we call life.
Too many wouds were cut,
Too deep beyond repair.
Her parents would say,
"We love you so much," the just send her off.
Off into the world so big,
Or her to room so small,
With all the toys and gifts the bought
As a way to show their love.
Now we have a sad young woman
With her life so lost.
"All is over," she said to herself.
"Just one last jump to take,
"One more leap to make"
