thanks guys! and welcome Shannon! I love the name Shannon, it reminds me of cats for some reason... anyway here's the next post, it's a cliffy I'm afraid!
He ran out of the library to get away from Hermione and stopped dead. Ahead of his the air seemed to be very smoky. It was rippling and wavy. But only a smallish section of he air was rippling. He touched it and jumped about a foot in the air. It was as thick as glue and his hand dragged slowly through it. Suddenly he felt a hand touch his back. He turned around suddenly but nothing was there. He poked the gooey air and felt a stab at his back. Then once again he had a dreadful moment of realisation. This was where the real Harry was, under a trance.
*plays mission impossible music for effect* da da da da, da da da, da da da da, da da da, da da da da...
