Ruby sat at the Hufflepuff table and looked about the great hall and sighed while she played about with the food on her table she was glad to be back at school for the year but she hadn't seen any of her friends yet and she was wondering when she would see them because she had not seen them for ages.
Ruby lowered her head because she had a tear or two in her eyes and she did not want anybody to see them she was thinking about the summer and how she found out that her mum was ill and Ruby knew that her mum was dying but she did not want to tell any of her friends until she felt ready.
