[Warner Bros logo. Shows SNAPE (played by Alan Rickman) in his classroom, his face very sour, as UMBRIDGE interviews him. HARRY (played by Daniel Radcliffe) smiles slightly as HERMIONE (played by Emma Watson) does her work. UMBRIDGE circles SNAPE, the simper on her face, her tone light.]
UMBRIDGE: You applied for the Defense Against the Dark Arts post, but you were unsuccessful?
SNAPE: (In a very bitter/sardonic tone) Obviously.
[RON (played by Rupert Grint) snorts with laughter to himself. NEVILLE (played by Matthew Lewis), PARVATI (played by Shefali Chowdhury) and PADMA (played by Afshan Azad) look on as SNAPE hits RON on the back of the head with a piece of parchment.]
VOICEOVER: On July 13th...
[All during the VOICEOVER, the following clips are shown:
--HARRY flies towards the camera on his broomstick.
--The DA is having a lesson. PADMA looks on as PARVATI tries a spell. The spell does not work. Her wand flies out of her hand and nearly hits the young NIGEL in the head as he ducks out of sight, sparks flying about.]
[HERMIONE wears a light sweater, wearing a headband, looking concerned.]
HERMIONE: We need a teacher.
VOICEOVER: ...the fifth year begins...
[During the next VOICEOVER, the following clips are shown:
--RON looks on as HARRY helps CHO (played by Katie Leung) with a spell.
--There is a horse-shaped Patronus...possibly HARRY's stag that floats magnificently around the Room of Requirement.]
[The camera shows HARRY teaching a DA member how to cast a spell. The spell shoots out of the girl's wand brightly.]
HARRY: [helping the girl] Believe in yourself.
[FRED and GEORGE (played by James and Oliver Phelps) fly down a flight of stairs and around a corner, almost knocking down a flustered UMBRIDGE. The camera then shows UMBRIDGE with a good amount of dirt and grime on her face. Her voice is shrill and commanding, her eyes wider and sterner.]
UMBRIDGE: I will have order.
[A golden spell or enchantment flies straight for DRACO MALFOY (played by Tom Felton), who has a look of terror on his face. He backs up into a wall. The spell just misses him, and he ducks out of the way just in time. The spell hits the wall, and the shape of MALFOY's face is present.]
[GINNY (played by Bonnie Wright) sits at a table. She laughs heartily over at TONKS (played by Natalia Tena), who, because she is an Metamorphagus, begins to change the shape of her nose into a duck's bill. TONKS has dark eyes, shoulder-length, purple hair, and is wearing a unique shirt with a sort of cross near the shoulder.]
[FRED and GEORGE, dressed in their pajamas, Apparate suddenly right next to MRS. WEASLEY (played by Julie Walters), who is also in her pajamas. MRS. WEASLEY jumps and gives a mixed shout of surprise and annoyance.]
[There are clapping hands, and HERMIONE towards the camera, dressed in her Hogwarts uniform, and smiles.]
HERMIONE: It's sort of exciting isn't it...
[RON is holding his wand at the ready in the Room of Requirement. He looks very determined.]
RON: Stupefy!
[HERMIONE performs the same Stunner as RON.]
HERMIONE: Stupefy!
[A surprised RON is thrown backwards off of his feet, look of fright and surprise on his face. He hits the ground with a thud, uttering a small yell from shock.]
HERMIONE: ...breaking the rules...
[HARRY, RON, HERMIONE, NEVILLE, GINNY, FRED, and GEORGE walk along the bridge in the snow. They are all donning their winter clothes. HERMIONE and RON are in the lead. RON looks at HERMIONE in surprise and amusement at her comment.]
RON: (looks over at HARRY for a moment before turning to HERMIONE) Who are you, and what have you done with Hermione Granger.
[EVERYONE on the bridge gives a laugh and a smile at RON's comment, including HERMIONE.]
[The HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX credit comes up on the screen. The letters are gold, the background black.]
VOICEOVER: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix; rated PG-13... in theatres and IMAX theatres on July 13th.
[The movie details including the PG-13 rating in the US comes up. In the background, the camera shows FRED and GEORGE escaping in the sky on their broomsticks. They leave behind magnificent fireworks. A large group of Hogwarts students file hastily out of the castle and into the courtyard, their eyes on the sky where FRED and GEORGE leave.]
