"Oh my goodness! How did I miss that? I am so so sorry. She must have mentioned it when I was whispering in the horse's ear that everything is going to be ok. I know the horse is Stupefied and all, but I thought some reassuring words would be nice. I didn't realize that I missed that important piece of information. I just heard snippets where Professor Dainsie said, 'Just pour them both in.' I thought she ment pour them both into the wound. I didn't realize she was referring to the bowl! Thank you for stopping me. I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't!" Kennedy's eyes were filling with tears. She normally paid complete attention when professors were speaking but something about the wounded animal kept Kennedy's attention away. She simply felt awful for what could have happened. She stammered, "Professor, I'm so sorry. I promise it won't happen again. You have my undivided attention."
