I said I'd be back wayy before this, but well. I got help up with school and everything else.

Id like to give credit to Draco' Darling for the idea behind this post. Sadly though I don't have time time right now to make the story go one any longer, so this is the final post. I may though sometime soon, begin another one. But for now, He're the post.

The Christmas holidays passed in a blur, everything seemed to go by so fast and before we knew it we were heading back to school. The holidays were pretty good except for one small thing.

It was Christmas eve, morning, and we were all sitting down eating breakfast in the kitchen when Matt said that he had to go out to town, he said he had some last minute shopping that he had to do and that he’d be back in a hour or so. I noticed that Ian gave him a knowing look, smiled and went back to eating while Matt got up and left.

It was around 4 hours later that I finally began to worry, I’d been away from Matt for this long before, but I always knew where he was, or had a general idea. This time I was really worried because he said that he would be back by now. I went and found dad and asked him what he thought.

“Oh, he just most likely got held up and its taking him long then he anticipated.” Dad told me.

Well that really didn’t help me at all. Around supper time I began to get frantic. I had no idea what had happened to him. Lyssa told me that it was nothing that I should worry about, he just probably ran into someone he knew. Everyone else seemed to agree with her.

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?” I yelled.

“Nothing, don’t yell at her” Ian told me coldly.

“Well, she thinks I shouldn’t worry about, he’s been gone all day when he said he’d only be gone for a couple hours at the most. Of course I’m going to be worried.”

After no one said anything for a few minutes I said “I’m going to look for him, it’s Christmas eve. What happened if his dad got to him or something?? Anyone want to come help me look? If not, I’m going on my own!”

“We’ll come help,” my friends all said.

So we left the house just before supper and headed to town looking for him. We looked in all the shops and no one said that they had seen them. Ian came out of one of the stores and told us all that they storekeeper said that he had been in there in the morning, but he hadn’t been back since. So we continued on, walking up an down the alleys, when suddenly we heard someone screaming. It sounded really faint, but awfully familiar.

I took off running down the alley, slowing as I came nearer the sound. It was Matt, laying on the ground, with Ray hovering over top of him, muttering off different curses with his want.

“STOP!” I yelled.

Ray looked my way, and for a moment it looked like he was going to turn on me, but then he said, “No, he needs to realize that you are not his girlfriend!”

I’m his fiance, Ray, not his girlfriend, that counts for more. Let him go now,” I said, slowly drawing my wand.

He looked startled, and I quickly glanced behind me to see that my friends had also all drawn their wands. When I looked back at Ray, he had lowered his wand, like he was admitting defeat. Ian shot off a spell at him bounding him, grabbed hold of him tightly, and told Lyssa to hold on to him tight and he Apparated back to our place. Now there was only Carly, Matt and I left. Carly leaned towards me, and said that I had to get Matt back on my own, and that she was going back to my place, with a loud pop she was gone. As soon as she was gone, I ran over to Matt to help him up. I told him I was going to get him home the same way as my friends just went, even if it was illegal for me to do so.

He looked up at me, and said, “No, not yet. I have something to give you, I don’t think Ray destroyed it. He’s going to regret this by the way. It’s your Christmas present. I’m sorry I didn’t get home, Ray just came up from behind me and surprised me.”

He took a little box out of his pocket and told me to open it. When I looked inside I saw a really pretty necklace, it was on a silver chain and had two hearts on it. He looked at me and told me that he had only come in to have it repaired, it had belonged to his mother and once she heard about our engagement she sent it to him. Very gingerly, I gave him a hug, and we slowly started home.

What happened to Ray? Well, dad mad sure that he got what he deserved, he was expelled from Hogwarts for torturing a fellow classmate and we haven’t heard from him since. This year looks looks like it’s going to end good after all. With a wedding to look forward to in the summer, and then one final year of school, Matt and I will be living together in a different common room in school, that has been there for a long time for married students. We get to chose how we decorate it and everything, dad said, because it hasn’t been used in a very long time. All I can say is that this has been a very eventful year, and I’m sure Matt and I will have many more to come together.
