"Got it," Kristi said and then walked briskly to Lupin's office. She hadn't seen him at breakfast, so she assumed he'd be there. Kristi knocked on the door and walked in as she heard him mumble, "Come in."
Not sure what to say next, Kristi glanced back out the door and then took a seat in one of the chairs. "So, will you be in the escort today?" she asked, stalling for time.
