Post Bloomsbury had "a challenging year" in 2006

Harry Potter U.K. publisher Bloomsbury had low earnings in 2006 as no Potter book was released.

Quote:
Over the year to December 31, the group saw pre-tax profit slide 74 percent to £5.2 million as sales slipped almost a third to £74.8m, from £109.1m the year before when the group published the hardback edition of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Bloomsbury Chairman Nigel Newton said 2006 had been "a challenging year."
