Upon entering the room, Kennedy heard Professor Pride request that third years and below sit on the left side of the room. Kennedy walked to the front row on the left side and took a seat as close to the center as possible, while still remaining on the left. She then proceeded to take out from her tote bag her Transfiguration text book, a quill, ink, and parchment. She awaited further instructions from the professor.
