Drabble 86: Zap

She awoke the next morning to see the storm still strong, wind even stronger, whipping the trees back and forth. She shivered slightly and hugged herself, knowing she had no choice but to get up and help prepare the morning feast. Turning her back on the windows, she never saw lightening zap the Forbidden Forest, causing a great fire to erupt from the electricity. It was quickly put out however thanks to the rain. Going to the stove, she ignored the howling wind and splatter of the rain against the windows as she set out preparing the eggs and bacon.
