Julian smiled, shrugging. "Well, if it's not too much trouble," he said. "I mean, I wouldn't want to impose on you and the other Professors here," he said, glancing around at the others, who all seemed to be busy in their own way. "It's quite alright. I don't much care for chairs either. Too stiff for my taste!" He chuckled.

Julian studied her for a moment, wondering if she did mind. But when he assessed that she didn't, in fact, mind at all, he relaxed visibly. He had hoped that he didn't irritate her by his accidental overhearing of their conversation. "Hogsmeade will be quite lovely this year, I suppose," he said absently, hoping secretly that he would be able to take Neva there. He hadn't been to Madame Puddifoot's and heard it was a lover's paradise there.
