"Now, having completed Inflamare, we will move on to Lumos, which some of you might already know from Charms already, but I beg you not to interrupt the lesson if you do.
"Lumos is a charm that casts light from the tip of your wand," she explained, "and light, next to warmth, is another thing Devil's Snares detest, as we know. Does anybody know the proper incantation (pronunciation) for Lumos?" she asked.
