Carrel could have slapped his forehead. "Sorry," he said with a sigh. He saw people crowded around a corner of the Great Hall. Carrel rose an eyebrow and walked over there. He saw a poster that read:

Thanksgiving Ball!

Gentlemen, you are all invited to join the festivities next Friday! There will be food, dancing, and music. You are allowed to bring your girlfriends, but only for that ONE night.
