Jose took in the information silently coming to a halt briefly, trying to see if she could spot some boy that looked like a Frankie to her. She didn't exactly know what a Frankie would look like, most likely he would have a thick black mustache with equally thick black eyebrows and an annoying habit of twitching his nose just to see his bigote dance.
"See, chica, now I'm confused. How can you be quiet then not like quiet. That's like, liking tomato sauce but not ketchup," she said quickly and scratching her head ferociously, curls jumping up, down, sideways and in circular motion, perhaps even in the shape of a hexagon. "Ay dios mio, but I see what the muchachas see in him. He's very guapo."
"Everyone likes Frankie," she repeated with a slight frown, obviously confused. "He's like white rice then, no? Everybody likes arroz blanco."
