| Kitty Momma Rachel's Brain Twin Great minds think alike, Rach, love. I’ve been thinking about something very similar to what you’ve written about the dungeons, keys, doors and the Arithmancy code thingy. *Shnuggles* But what I was thinking is just slightly different. Instead of them finding a skeleton (aka master) key for all of the doors in the dungeons in the beginning, I think it would be cool if they had to find separate keys to the doors. But not just any keys, keys with a reduced vibration on them.
So let’s say each of the doors to each chamber in the dungeons had a line of numbers on them. What the kiddos would have to do is reduce those numbers to get its vibration, and from there find the appropriate key with the same vibration. But the catch would be that each of these keys would be in a chest full of other keys, some with numbers and some without numbers.
So simplistically I think the first part of the first challenge could go something like this: 1. Kiddos find Arithmancy coded parchment in the vicinity of their starting chamber. (We could also include a map of the dungeons as well.) 2. Kiddos crack the code of the Arithmancy encrypted parchment using the number system and get their “instructions” or “hints”. 3. Kiddos notice that all the doors are coded in numerical vibrations and reduce the numbers of the door(s) to get their true numerical vibration. 4. Kiddos notice a chest and open the chest and discover it’s full of various keys. 5. Kids use the “code” from the door(s) to figure out which keys will be needed and use them on the door(s). 6. Kiddos decide which of the doors they will go through first. (Not decided on how many their might be in the chamber(s) yet.) 7. Process is repeated a few times in various odd chambers until they get where they need to be for the next obstacle(s).
(I think the best way for both them and us to keep tabs on what chambers and stuff they're in would be to make a sort of blueprint of the “arena”... I can do that using Paint.NET or photoshop if everyone likes the idea.)
Not exactly written in stone or anything and it's far from really fleshed out, but does that sound alright or too difficult?
I think we could also use a bit of creatures down there to distract them too. Perhaps some Hinkypunks and Pixies? Quote:

I'm sure the first task could take more helpers for sure. I forget who all was helping on that one. Would you like me to lead the event, Ern love? I can if you and the others want me to. Or I can just help with the judging, too. Either way I'm good haha.
I think it was just me and Rach who said they'd definitely do something with this challenge originally. I could be wrong though. But we definitely need more peeps on board, I think XD.
