aww, that's so sad Alyonna =( I hope you get that talent back!!
Anyway, here's one I just wrote. I once heard "Write about what haunts you," and this poem definitely depicts what haunts me...lol
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "When the Last Light is Gone"
Empty cave of forgotten days lingering, not letting go
the golden days so swiftly past and not to be believed
Spirits still hide underneath the stones of buildings twice removed
Where will you go, o ghostly one, when the last light is gone?
Awash in a sea of memories, asking for rememberance
Someone must still care, for elder trees are still swaying
Mountains of a thousand years, standing among the clouds
The ocean's eyes wandering for centuries of centuries....yet find no answer
O sweet wind of long existance, where will we go
When the last light is gone?
A petal falling upon the infant's breath, fading into timeless age
Letting go of wisdom found within the voice of an ancient storm
The sun has lived its rising years, and now is time to set
Raindrops of omens staining the ones who look to the skies
As they melt away into oblivion, and a girl stands alone
Speaking no words as her only question creates Life and its Demise
Where will I go, angel of Fate, when the last light is gone?
