Dear Diary,
I'm sorry, I didn't get to tell you what happened next! It was so great...Harry led me into the Great Hall. Malfoy was still dripping of garbage and smelling like dun. He had to be taken to the hospital wing, because Harry put a Sticking charm on the spell. He's so smart...


Harry had escorted Hermione into the Great Hall for lunch. There, they sat down next to Ron. Ron was staring dreamily in another direction.

"Ron? Are you there?" Harry snapped his fingers under Ron's nose. Ron yelped, and began to shovel down his food.

"Ronald! Don't be such a pig!" Ron slowed down, then looked reproachfully at Hermione.

"You know, you sound like my mum when you do that..."

"Well, then, don't make me talk like that." Hermione's cheeks went red.

"That's what she says after she's done yelling at me!"

"Oh, knock it off you too." Hermione and Ron fell silent. Hermione especially, because she didn't want Harry to think she acted like this all the time. Oh wait, she already did. Hermione groaned.

"Hermione? Are you ok?" Harry put a hand on her back. Hermione smiled.

"Much better, thanks."

"OK." And his hand slid off. Hermione almost whimpered with disappointment, but realized that Harry wouldn't understand. the only girl he ever felt that chummy with would have been Cho....or Ginny.

Hermione looked around for Ginny. Ginny was seated further up the table with Dean. They looked happy to be back together. But Hermione knew that it was Harry Ginny really cared for. Hermione felt bad, but she loved Harry too. And eventually, Harry would realize that.

"'Mione?"

Hermione jumped 10 feet in the air. She turned to Ron. "What?"

"Only that the bell rang, and we've got to go to History Of Magic now. Nothing big. Let me know if I disturb you again." Ron walked off, irritated, and Harry followed him, not sure what was going on. Hermione groaned.

The school day just flew by. Next thing Hermione knew, it was time for homework. Hermione skipped dinner to study. Harry and Ron of course went to dinner. But Hermione was disturbed from her studies by...HARRY!

"Harry? What's wrong? I thought you were having dinner?"

"I did...I just, brought you some."

"Oh, thanks alot Harry. I didn't realize how hungry I was."

"That's ok 'Mione."

'Mione...it sounded to lovely coming from his voice...to here him say her nickname. Hermione was almost ready to confess her love for Harry, right then and there, when...

CRASH!

Ron came in the Common Room, belching the ABC's with Dean. Hermione wailed with frustration, and flew upstairs. Ron looked at Harry, then Dean.

"What did I do this time?"
