Common Room

"Excuse me, can you tell me where the Hufflepuff common room is?" I politely asked a prefect who looked friendly enough. Where had the other Hufflepuffs gone now?

The prefect looked me up and down, a snarl forming. "In the dungeons," he growled, squinting at me evilly.

"Er, thanks," I told him, wandering down many flights of stairs in my pursuit for the other Hufflepuffs.

It turned out that my common room was by the kitchens, but I didn't find that out till the second day of school and someone found me nearly frozen next to the Slytherin common room.
