Dare

Remember those Muggle snacks by the company ‘Dare’? I loved those when I was little. I still loved them entering Hogwarts, so I brought some on the first day of school. I’d gotten homesick already but they tasted like home, deterring my suicidal thoughts.

It was weird because when I let others try them (chiefly those who were purebloods) they stuck to their teeth and caused their gums to swell. It puzzled me, but when they tried to hex me with their wands, I was glad that their jaws were stuck together.

Now I carry a pack wherever I go.
