3. Transfiguration

Justin liked to think he was rather good at Transfiguration. Mind you, he liked to think he was rather gifted at most subjects, even though most of the time he was mistaken.

So when Professor McGonagall told them they'd be transfiguring beetles into banana's, First Year Justin was overly confident that he'd get it right first try.

"Look Susan" he said to the hufflepuff girl sitting next to him. He flourished his wand and said "Betulium Fruitesco!", expecting the beetle to turn into a banana.

Susan laughed as the beetle remained unchanged.
