for anyone who hasn't listened to any of the audio books read by Jim Dale, you are really missing a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the Potter series. He does such a good job at the characters and it such a nice way to hear the books while driving on long trips. I have them loaded into my MP3 player as well (which eliminates the need to change discs/tapes) and I listen to them all the time. I know some fans say that Stephen Frye's version of the books is better but I guess everyone has their opnion, mine is that Dale's is both more entertaining and realistic to how I pictured the characters......:ballcap:

facts from Jim Dale's website

he holds the Guinness World Record for creating
"Most Character Voices in an Audio Book - 134"
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"

he was also awarded, "In the 'Top Ten Best Selling Audio C.D's of America and Canada',
Narrator Jim Dale takes the first SIX places
with his recordings of the Harry Potter books."

you can hear clips from each of the first six audio books that Dale has recorded at this website Clips
