 Astronomy Lab 1
Walking into the Observation Room, you notice that the telescopes are out and are all pointed out the large picture window facing the east, where the full moon is just starting to rise. Hazelle is intently doing some paperwork, Cepheus guarding over her. You see instructions on the chalkboard:

Take a seat near a telescope and Be Quiet. There will be no talking in this lab.
First, I want you to view the moon without the telescope and draw a rough map of the moon and shadows. (10pts)
Second, I want you to view the moon with the telescope and draw a more percise map of the moon, and lable the items you can find by referring to your book. (10pts)
Lastly, I want you to look again at the moon without the telescope and see what you can find in the shadows, prime example is The Man in the Moon.(5pts)
The images must be PM'd to me by 12noon CST (GMT -6) on Tuesday, 12 Dec. The RP must be finished by Sunday night/Monday afternoon (I'll close it around then)
ooc: Though you must PM your pictures to me, adorable_lil_thing, you *must* RP going through the actions in here. You can find images online, but if one actually draws and sends that, bonus points will be given. Feel free to find an image of the moon online and draw from that if you want. Otherwise, feel more than welcome to simply find moon drawings/maps online.
Please note, only those who do both RP and Pictures will recieve the full points. If you only do the RP half, expect no more than half the points possible. If you only do the pictures, expect no more than 3 points.
For the last, I want a list of what you see on the moon's face, and a picture of the moon you used. (I want to see the shadows. If you say you saw a galloping pony, I want to know where that came from)
If you have any questions, IC or OOC, I will open a thread to discuss them in, this thread is strictly IC and RPing, this way I can be sure everyone gets counted for.
Also: Only make one post. I don't care if it's 1 paragraph or 7, only have ONE post. If there's more than one post per person, points will be deducted.
Lastly, I'm doing this to give everyone a chance to earn some points for their house. I myself will be in and out all day, possibly all weekend, so if you decide your character absolutely must have a dramatic experience, don't do it here, I won't be in the mood for it and may decide something even worse for your character.
I'm sorry this OOC is so long, but I wanted to lay out the ground rules and tell you all the best way to earn points. *gives penguins to those who read through everything and still decided to do this*
