28. Timeturner

There were times Ron wished he had a timeturner. That instant was one of them. As dearly as he loved Hermione, as lovely as it was to have her close to him, he wanted their beloved headmaster back.

Dumbledore was dead. Killed fighting against the Dark Lord, done in by Professor Snape. It was difficult to believe that all those years, both Harry and he had been right.

Hermione wept on his shoulder, and his tears came too, he watched Harry in the distance with Ginny and he knew, so long as the Dark Lord lived beautiful things would die.
