13. Quidditch
The stands were noisy, colorful, and hectic, but Bella sat silently in a corner, watching the Quaffle, Bludgers and Snitch whirl around the Quidditch Pitch. Extremely bored, Bella perked up when a Hufflepuff boy was smashed by a Bludger from Slytherin.
As the crowd around her winced, Bella wondered if the boy would live to see another day. He was swept off to the hospital wing, a little bloody, but alert and conscious.
Bella was terrified by her thoughts. How could she wonder if the boy would live? She ignored the part of her that found joy in his pain. |
