He scanned the newspaper for any juicy information about either the Dark Lord, or little Harry Potter.
Peter stared at the picture of Sirius Black in the newspaper. He was almost unable to recognize; his shiny hair was matted, and his eyes were hollow. And it was all Peter’s fault.
He started sniffing, but forced himself to stop. The Dark Lord would not be pleased to see him cry, especially about a friend who he’d betrayed.
“I don’t care,” he said to himself. “Black can go rot and die, for all I care.”
But the thing was, he did care. |
