Dis held her wand in her right hand and flicked it. The tip erupted in a stream of light that seemed to startle some but she wasn't surprised by it. She was in her sixth year and had already studied wordless spell-casting. Considering lumos was such a simple spell, it was no surprise that she was able to make the light appear. It was trying to make the light not appear that was difficult. As she was flighting her want, she tryied thinking of other things. Eventually, she was able to flick her wand and have nothing happen, after some dim attempts from the light to erupt again.

She looked around at the others in the class. SHe was angry from having one of her own have so many points taken away from Slytherin. They were so far behind Gryffindor and Ravenclaw was a homework assignment away from catching up. Didn't they realize they had to keep on their toes? Constant vigilence. Who was it that said that again?
