When Professor Pride dismissed the class, Tia grinned inwardly. All in all, it had been a fun class – You couldn’t say it hadn’t been so. Incidentally, it had also been the first class she had attended this term.
Having written down her homework, she began to gather her belongings, hastily stuffing them in her bag.
She zipped it shut, then patted it fondly. She had a certain fondness for that bag which she couldn’t explain. Maybe it was the colour.
Her mind wandered off to what her next lesson was about as she slung her bag over her right shoulder. Then, hoisting it more securely over her shoulder, she swiftly rose from her seat.
“Great lesson, Professor,” she said as she passed Professor Pride on her way outside the class. And she meant it in a nice way, too. No, really, she did. |
