"Hello Jacques," Julia greeted him happily, simply taking a seat on his lap. "How are you doing?" She gave him a brilliant smile as she rested her bag on her lap and looked into his brown eyes. She could never get over how beautiful they were. "Are you glad to be back at Hogwarts?" Talking and asking a lot of questions when you're nervous is one thing that Julia seemed to do quite often. She sensed that that was going to happen often in this situation.

Jacques didn't know how to react. He hadn't ever had a girl sitting in his lap. He laughed nervously, not knowing where to put his hands. He ended up putting them on either side of his butt, on the seat. Once the logistics of the seating arrangement were more comfortable, Jacques couldn't help but smile.

"Very glad to be back" he said, looking at Julia's nose, which was at his eye level. It was very cute. "And how is everyone's favourite Ravenclaw?"
