The present lay at the foot of Ron’s bed. Harry was busy opening his amazed anyone had gotten him anything at all, and Hermione back home was still thinking of them sitting around the Christmas tree with her family opening gifts.
Hermione smiled when she saw Ron’s present for her, she wondered what he was doing then.
Ron and Harry had the run of Gryffindor Tower for the most part alone, and they were running around trying to hex each other playing spell tag. Ron zapped Harry releasing him from the hex, “This is the best Christmas ever,” he said.
