The Return of Fawkes
“Albus Dumbledore is the greatest headmaster Hogwarts has ever, and will ever see. EVER” Harry screamed at Lucius Malfoy.
They were standing in the Headmaster’s office. Minerva was sitting at the desk, and the portrait of Dumbledore was softly chuckling on the wall. Suddenly there was a loud crack and a flash of light and Fawkes was standing on Harry’s shoulder nuzzling his neck.
“Ah yes, Fawkes.” Dumbledore said fondly, looking at the bird. Fawkes flew up and softly brushed Dumbledore’s portrait before returning to Harry’s shoulder, not before however, leaving a present on Lucius’ shoulder. “It would seem to me that you are out numbered, Lucius.” Dumbledore said calmly, a smile threatening the corners of his mouth. |
