ROFL. I love this one. By the way, since the willow was planted during Lupin's time, which is a bajillion years after Hogwarts was founded, I've decided to revise the history a bit. Mainly on how it got it's name.

(18. Whomping Willow)
Godric and Rowena were cuddled up under the Weeping Willow that Helga had planted. They were just minding their own business when a tuft of bird feathers showered upon them.
“Rowena, didst thou see that?”
“Yes Godric. It seems to be raining feathers.”
When the looked up, the saw that the branches were moving. In no time, the branches started swinging so violently that the two leapt from their spot, just in time to avoid it’s club-like branches as it whacked the ground.
“Art thou alright, Rowena?”
“Yes Godric, but it seems the Whomping Willow has had too much fertilizer.”
