Yeah, well I guess you can say I'm in a bit of a better mood... not much difference tho
Anyways, I feel like posting twice today, so I'll post chapter 2 a little while after posting the short last bit of chapter 1 (cause it's only like, 4-5 kinda bigish paragraphs).
Yeah, the H/Hr is kinda mentioned in the second part of chapter 1 (what I'm about to post).
Anyways, here it is! Gonna post chapter 2 in about 1 and a half hrs, cause I gotta get off the 'Net til then!

Chapter 1
The Final Battle (Part 2):
Memories of her 7th year came back to her as she looked down at him, how he’d been nothing but a pain in the butt for the first little while until their first patrolling, how he kissed her in the dark of the dungeons, how he had changed her for her own good, how he showed her new things about her she never knew she had, how he might act like a tough, smart-alec Slytherin bad-boy but he was actually a bit sensitive, caring, gentle, passionate guy and how he was trying to protect her by their breaking-up...
She dropped to her knees beside his body, clutching the ruby heart on the necklace he gave her four years before. Her tears spilled onto his cheeks. He didn’t flinch. He didn’t seem to move, Hermione couldn’t even tell if he was breathing or not.
“Mione?”
Hermione looked up and saw Ginny standing at the other end of the room.
“What’s wrong?”
Hermione turned away and looked back down at Draco’s calm face. Ginny came up behind Hermione and looked over her should.
“Oh, Hermione...” she left her sentence hanging. Hermione bit her lips together lightly. “What about Harry?” Ginny asked quietly.
Hermione refused to meet Ginny’s gaze. She searched the face of her old love. She wasn’t sure if Draco was alive and unconscious, or dead. If he was alive, she wouldn’t know what to do. For the past year she’s confined to Harry, finally able to get over her loss of Draco. Now that he lay in front of her, she felt lost again.
“I... nothing’s changing, Gin,” Hermione said quietly. “For all I know, he’s not even alive.” She reached out and touched his cheeks lightly with a hand.
She saw him twitch. Carefully pulling away, Hermione watched Draco slowly start moving. She stood up beside Ginny and looked down.
“Great going, Mione,” Ginny mumbled.
Hermione rolled her eyes. She looked back down and she saw his eyes open slowly. He looked just as confused as Hermione felt. He was mumbling something inaudible to her as he looked around. His pale grey eyes seemed to find Hermione.
“Gr... ‘Ermione?”
Hermione smiled weakly. She knew he almost called her by ‘Granger’, and she actually was ready for him to say so.
“Should I...?” Ginny whispered to Hermione. She nodded faintly and Ginny left the room, both for the privacy of her friend and to talk to Lupin.
Draco caught Hermione’s gaze and they locked eyes for a few moments. She noticed how weak he looked, so unguarded compared to how he used to be. It looked like he had given up all life in him, it was all drained. Nothing else was said, all the words were told through their eyes.
