Hermione’s patronus was an otter. He was gamboling around the Room of Requirement, she was practicing as the others showed up.
“That’s a nice one, Hermione,” Harry said, and she turned around and smiled.
“Thank you.”
“Was that a weasel?” Dean asked as he walked in with Ron and Seamus.
“Wot?” Ron asked.
“It wasn’t a weasel, silly,” Seamus said, “It was a ferret.”
“Hermione’s patronus is a ferret?” Cho asked.
“You think she likes Draco?” Marietta asked.
“What?” Hermione and Ron both cried out.
“Well they say your patronus reflects some aspect of your personality. Like who you love.”
