There was an almighty roar and Ron jumped out of his seat at the table. Seamus and Dean were laughing, Harry had bumped his head as he’d been bending over to pick up a fork, and Neville had fainted.
“Blimey!” Ron said, and turned to find Luna Lovegood wearing a lion’s hat on her head.
“I’m the announcer but I still want to root for you team Ron,” she said.
“Swell, Luna,” he said smiling.
She kissed him then.
“For luck,” and the lion’s hat roared again. However not as loudly as Hermione would later when she heard about it.
