"There are good news... and bad news", she started to say as she looked at the impatient glance on Rae's eyes. "The good news is that Professor Lainey is not being controlled by the Voldemortist as I had previously suspected," she explained. "The bad news is that she is meeting with him in dark corners and doing his bidding."
She didn't expect the Headmistress to believe her and didn't feel she needed to explain how she came about this information or what the other information entailed. After all, she believed that the Headmistress would decide to trust her long-time friend regardless of the information that was divulged. At least this way, if the Headmistress decided to talk to Professor Lainey, Lainey would not know the extent of her knowledge.
Virohsa looked at Rae and waited. Not for an answer or a plan, but to be excused. After all, she had to track down the perpretator before she accomplished these deeds. |
