Padma sighed as she cleared the dishes off the kitchen table. She shook her head slightly at the partially dried orange juice spilled earlier that morning. "Tergeo," she mumbled, siphoning off the juice.
Padma heard footsteps in the foyer and a small smile lit her face. She faced the door to see Seamus walk in, muttering to himself. He looked up at Padma and grinned.
"Hello, love. How are you this evening?" Seamus asked, walking over to Padma and gave her a hug.
"Fine. I just wish you would clean up after yourself." She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and wriggled herself out of Seamus' arms.
A knock at the front door distracted Padma, having her go over and answer it. Opening the door, she heard a happy squeal and then there was long black hair in her face.
"Padma!! It's been, what-"
"A day! Has Lavender been getting to you again, Parvati?"
Parvati giggled and nodded her head. She practically ran through the living room, knocking over a pot plant.
"Whoops... Er. Is it tergeo or scorgify?"
Padma poked Parvati's arm. "Just... I'll clean it up." Padma mumbled the spells and followed Parvati into the kitchen. |
