Dance

Dance is my favorite language
I do it all the time
My favorite time to do it
Is when the time is prime

The moon acts as my spotlight
As I make my daily clatter
This is truly my favorite time of day
The world is my theater

I don’t need the fancy costumes
Or the roaring crowd
I like the privacy better
I love the mellow sound

Or the crickets chirping
They make a natural beat
As I move so very lightly
Up and down the streets
