Pesky Poltergeist
“I found the ickle firsties.” Peeves cooed in sing-song voice as he came upon the first years waiting to be sorted.
His sudden appearance couple with the manic outburst yodeling caused several first year students to scream in fear while others covered their ears against the horrible sound.
Peeves began cackling joyfully at this development, just as Professor McGonagal entered the chamber. “Oh for heavens sake Peeves!” She chided, “out, out with you!” she exclaimed.
“Don’t be ridicules.” She impatiently chastised several near hysterical students. “That is Peeves, the Poltergeist. He is harmless – for the most part.” She added hastily.
