Pansy was so happy! She and Draco just returned from the Yule Ball, and she had had a blast! As soon as Draco went up to the boys’ dormitories, she grinned ear to ear.
“So…?” asked Tracey.
Pansy just kept grinning.
“I think she’s lost it,” said Daphne.
“No… It was really fun!” exclaimed Pansy, a little louder than she’d meant to.
“That’s good!” replied Tracey, smiling at her friend, while Daphne began snickering.
“What?” asked Pansy.
“Oh, nothing…” replied Daphne, still laughing.
“I’m heading up to bed,” said Pansy. She tried to walk towards the stairs, but her legs were wobbling uncontrollably, so she couldn’t walk. That was why Daphne was laughing.
“Well, your face practically said, ‘My legs are like jelly!’” Daphne explained. Tracey laughed and Pansy tried unsuccessfully to glare. The fact that Daphne had performed jelly legs curse on her didn’t really surprise her. |
