“Ready or not, here I come!” yelled Pansy, loud enough for her friends to hear. She quickly left her bedroom, the safety zone, and raced downstairs. She checked the drawing room. Nothing. “Flagrate,” she muttered, leaving a red ‘x’ on the door. That was the sign that the room had been checked and it was therefore off-limits to move into. All you can do in a room marked with ‘x’ was run through it.
Next she checked the kitchen and dining room. Still nobody. She went through the house, not finding anybody, but finding herself having fun nonetheless. She hadn’t played this game for years, but here they were, babysitting her cousin and playing hide and go seek.
Pansy ran into the sitting room and found Draco standing under a large family portrait. He smirked at her and took off. Pansy smirked back, glad at finally having an excuse to chase Draco. |
