Hermione and Draco were in the library alone—again. She paid no attention to him, so he tried to ignore her existence. He didn’t need her consideration, anyways, right?
Yet he found himself glancing at her more times than necessary as they worked on homework. It was as if his eyes had a life of their own; this made him very uncomfortable. Clearly it had the same effect on Hermione because ever so often she would glance at him shiftily and change her position.
After an hour of silence, noise could be heard approaching: two boys. Ron and Harry emerged to whisk Hermione away; apparently some function in Gryffindor tower was taking place.
“I’ll be there; help me with these books, will you?” Hermione started gathering her things and her friends took some heavy textbooks.
As Hermione brushed past Draco, she dropped a blank piece of paper by his hand. By the way she looked at him he knew it meant something.
When she was out of sight, Draco turned to the paper, trying to decipher why it was blank. Was this some kind of Hermione-ish trick? Then he remembered:
“SpeRevelio!”
Words in neat writing wrote, Stop being inappropriate.
