Pansy was in a bad mood. She had been just been rejected… again. All she had wanted was Draco to hold her hand, but he sent her on ahead.
“What’s wrong?” asked Blaise, noticing her hurt expression.
Pansy glared at him. “You know full well what’s wrong.”
“Oh. Draco. I should’ve known,” he muttered, rolling his eyes. Pansy glared again, and vowed to perform Avada Kedavra to the next person who was dumb enough to make a comment on her mood or Draco.
“What’s your problem?” Go figure, she thought. Draco looked at her expectantly, but she didn’t reply. “I told you that I had to deal with Potter.” he said, trying to get her to talk. She was the person he talked to most, after all. Crabbe and Goyle couldn’t understand half of what Draco said, Blaise didn’t tolerate some of the things Draco said, Theodore annoyed him, and the three other girls in Pansy’s year weren’t close to him.
“I know,” she muttered, before she walked up to the girls’ dormitory, leaving Draco alone.
*The tite is also the title of a song Johnny Cash remade... Go watch the music video! It's uber good, but depressingly sad
