20. Knitting Charm

“Ginny please, can’t you fix it?” pleaded Ron as he held up the torn sweater his mother had given him.

She looked over at Ron and let out a small laugh, “What makes you think that I can knit? Besides serves you right. Mum will be devastated when she finds out you were using the sweater as a sling shot.”

Ron rolled his eyes and threw his head back, “You are a girl! All girls know how to knit!”

Ginny shook her head, “Here…” she handed him two knitting needles, “you’ll figure something out.”

“Now what?” he asked himself as he held up the torn sweater up in front of him. It had a gaping hole in the chest area. Ron continued to stare at the sweater and failed to take any action.

Looking around he stuffed the sweater in his satchel and headed for the boys lavatory. Entering, he quickly searched around for any prying eyes. Not seeing anyone he pulled the sweater out, and with his wand placed a knitting charm on the needles.

“Please don’t let anyone come in.” he began to bite his nails and with his free hand, gestured for the needles to work faster.
