Alice sat doodling at her desk, chin on fist, in charms. She wasn’t hearing Professor Flitwick as he lectured them on non-verbal charms. She was too busy thinking about Frank. She was thinking about the hours that she had spent with him, simply talking and laughing. Alice had never thought that she would think of only one boy at one time. She had always thought that she would have several boys clamoring after her, as indeed it had been for about six years here at school. However, frank’s kindness and keenness had her hook-line-and-sinker. |
