100. Homework * indicates completed drabble (#78) Installment One: And One Makes Seven “Fred and George, shut up, will you?” said ten-year old Bill Weasley. Two identical red-heads shot up to look at their oldest brother. The three-year olds had been competing against each other to see who could make the most high-pitched squeal. Normally this wasn’t a problem, however, the hospital corridor was far from their large backyard at home. Grinning cheekily, the twins looked at each other before continuing their competition. Bill was about to grab the two boys and cover their mouths with his hands when the door nearest them opened. “Boys, come meet your new sister,” their father beamed. (#15) Installment Two: Lessons Bill and Charlie stood Fred, George and Ron each beside a broom. “Right. First thing’s first,” began Bill. “Only do what Charlie and I say, got it? Do anything else and we’ll tell Mum and Dad.” At this, the eldest Weasley son looked at his nine-year old twin brothers. “Yeah, okay, just get on with it, will you?” Fred replied impatiently. “Mount your brooms and follow us to the orchard,” Bill instructed, ignoring Fred’s comment. “Charlie, follow behind to make sure they don’t mess around.” Charlie nodded and the five boys took off towards the orchard to begin the lesson. |
